About the S&W 4006
The Smith & Wesson 4006 was the first Smith & Wesson handgun released in the .40 Smith & Wesson cartridge. The four-inch barreled, alloy framed handgun is a double action featuring a slide mounted safety and de-cocker. The 4006 has had a long career with many law enforcement agencies in the United States.
The Smith & Wesson 4013 is a slim, single stack variant of the 4006.
The Smith & Wesson CS40 (Chief’s Special 40) is a single stack, compact variant of the 4006.
