Glock 20 Night Sights: Additional Information
All XS Glock night sights are compatible with every generation, including the Modular Optic System (MOS). Don’t get sucked into the Gen 5 compatible sight or MOS sight overhang forums.
Our sights have been tested on numerous generations for the past 25-years. Our minimalist Glock sight designs have always shied away from big overhangs, saving us from launching a MOS-specific set due to the dovetail movement.
The Glock 20 handgun was introduced to the world in 1991 when the Federal Bureau of Investigation and many other U.S. law enforcement agencies were switching to, or contemplating the switch to, the 10MM auto cartridge.
The G20 offered the highest capacity available in a duty pistol for the potent 10MM cartridge. While the G20 did not see widespread law enforcement use, it is an ideal handgun for people that like to take long walks in areas that might be inhabited by bears.
Are things getting a little tall on top of your pistol slide? Upgrade to a set of suppressor/optic height sights. We offer DXT2 versions with tritium rear. Our optic height sights are a lower 1/3 design and will work with Trijicon RMR, Trijicon SRO, Holosun 507, and the Vortex Viper. Backup iron sights offer many enhancements to red dot-equipped pistols, including aiding in finding the dot and serving as true backups if the battery dies. Check out our optics blog to learn more.
Are you looking at installing the sights yourself? Don’t worry; they are one of the easiest sets to install.
Most of our rear sights can be installed by a sight pusher tool or the old hammer and punch method and most of our Glock sights ship with a Glock front sight tool and red Vibra-Tite thread locker.
Each product page has detailed instructions per installation method, and you can also check out our Glock DIY install blog for some crafty ways to install sights if you don’t want to invest in a sight pusher tool or own a vise.
We have expert gunsmiths on staff that can walk you through the process and installation services if you're not up to the task. Contact us for more details.
