Sig Sights
Sig Sauer has a long-standing reputation for manufacturing high-quality, accurate, and dependable firearms. From elite military units to self-defense minded citizens – from the classic SIG P210 to the cutting-edge SIG P320 and SIG P365 there is a SIG firearm to fit your needs.
Most SIG pistols are equipped with injection molded sights that are not ideal for EDC or a home defense gun. XS Sights offers durable iron sights that will hold up to years of abuse and stay on the gun. Our sights come equipped with tritium to provide an illuminated sight picture in low light. Tritium glows for 10-years and does not require batteries or maintenance. We carry a variety of sight pictures tailored to specific shooting styles.
DXT2 Night Sights offer the fastest sight acquisition on the market. The big dot front sight and open rear sight allow a greater field of view down range, increasing the front sight acquisition speed, allowing for rapid target acquisition. The simple in-line sight picture reduces sight alignment time by eliminating an extra focus point compared to traditional notch and post sights. The dot-the-i sight picture prevents confusing the front and rear sight while in high-stress situations or in low light. DXT2 Sights are available in a Standard Dot (0.140”) or Big Dot (0.188”) front sight.
R3D Nights offer an enhanced notch and post sight traditional sight picture, built for a lifetime of hard use. All XS sight systems are designed around highly visible front sights to enhance front sight focus. R3D sights feature a brighter tritium vial in the front sight to increase front sight focus. The rear features a simple blacked-out face with a wide notch to increase visible light around the front post.
XS front sights are equipped with our proprietary photoluminescent Ember Glow Dot technology. The Glow Dot features a high-contrast color in bright light, absorbs ambient light, and glows in low light. Ember is available in multiple colors to satisfy personal color preferences. DXT2 and R3D sights are available with a tritium or non-tritium rear option to fit your shooting style.
XS Sights offers high-quality, tritium night sights to fit your SIG firearms that are engineered for fast target acquisition regardless of lighting conditions. Sig Sauer History
The founding of Schwiezerische Waggon-Fabrik (SWF) in 1853 was the beginning of the modern SIG firearms. In 1860, SWF won a competition led by the Switzerland Federal Ministry of Defence to provide a new service rifle. This was the first of many military contracts that would establish SIG's reputation for manufacturing high-quality, accurate, and dependable firearms.
After receiving the 1864 contract to produce additional rifles, the company's name was changed to Schweizerische Industrie-Gesellschaft (SIG), emphasizing production. SIG continued to design and manufacture military and sporting arms under the new name.
1947 saw the development of the SIG P210, which would become the Swiss military's P49 duty pistol. The P210 set new standards in accuracy and precision and would go on to be used by many elite military units around the world.
In 1975, SIG entered the American market with the SIG Sauer line of pistols. These pistols combined the best of SIG's engineering and manufacturing with Germanic design elements to create a unique line of firearms that quickly gained a following among American shooters.
Today, SIG continues to produce some of the world's finest firearms for military, law enforcement, and civilian use. The company's cutting-edge designs and commitment to quality have made SIG a trusted name in the firearms industry.
