S&W M&P & M2.0 Shield & Shield Plus Night Sights

S&W M&P & M2.0 Shield & Shield Plus (9mm, 40 S&W, 45 ACP) Sight Options

Upgrade your Smith & Wesson M&P Shield, Shield 2.0 or Shield Plus with our premium tritium night sights. We offer R3D, DXT2 Big Dots, F8, DXW Standard Dots, and DXW Big Dots for the M&P Shield, Shield 2.0 and Shield Plus platform. We tailor sight pictures to your specific needs, from brightness, sight acquisition speed, or vision issues. R3D sights are traditional 3-Dot tritium, notch and post sights, DXT2s are our flagship express sights built for fast sight acquisition, and our F8 sights blend R3D and DXT2 sight pictures. Check our sight selector guide to learn more about our different sight pictures.

Not-Tritium Rear Sights

Looking for a simpler set or iron sights with no tritium in the rear? We got you covered. We also offer our DXW product lines with a non-tritium rear option. This is preferred by some shooters who want less glow intensity in the rear of the sight to allow for maximum focus on the front sight or shooters looking for a more budget-friendly option.

S&W Sight Installation

Are you looking at installing the sights yourself? Most of our rear sights can be installed by a sight pusher tool or with a hammer and punch.

Each product page has detailed instructions per installation method.  If you need some more help, give us a call. We have expert gunsmiths on staff that can walk you through the process.

About the S&W M&P & M2.0 Shield & Shield Plus

With the success of the full-size and compact M&P, Smith &Wesson introduced the M&P Shield in 2012.  The slime line Shield, with a staggered column magazine offering either 7 or 8 round capacity, brought a sub-compact Smith & Wesson chambered in 9MM to the concealed carry market.  Small, easily concealed, yet easy to shoot, the Shield was an instant hit for self defense or as a backup gun for law enforcement officers.

Like its full-sized sibling, the M&P, the Shield was upgraded to a Shield 2.0 in 2017.  With a more aggressive grip texture and some minor internal changes, the Shield 2.0 continued the Shield family’s popularity.

Following the success of the Shield 2.0, Smith & Wesson introduced the Shield Plus in 2021.  The new Shield Plus maintains the footprint, form, and durability of it’s predecessors, but, with a minor increase in width, bumps the magazine capacity to 10 (flush fit magazine) or 13 (extended magazine).
