Great for a CQB weapon. I have it installed on my 300BLK w/8" barrel.

The sight is great, but the lack of a tool to get the original front post out is frustrating. They could mold a cutaway for screwing out the original post on the opposite side of the tool they give you on their proprietary installation tool. Also, because of the design of this post, it cannot be screwed into the sight like a typical a2 sight post. It only goes in half of a turn before it locks up from the detent pin. I had to use the smallest Allen key to get between the sight post to allow me to depress the detent so I could turn the sight post several times to get in the correct position. This took 2 people and because the post's front face was turned towards the same side the detent was located when it initially got locked, I inadvertently scratched the face of the sight with the Allen key. So, the sight is nice but everything else about getting it installed correctly is a nightmare!
