Our front sights are a superior upgrade over factory ramp sights. The sight acquisition is faster, and alignment is more repeatable than with ramp sights.

Improve your accuracy with a precision sight picture. Ramp sights make precision shots difficult because setting the elevation repeatedly and quickly is hard. Our dot front sights make shooting easy. Simply put the bottom of the dot in the channel and cover the spot on the target you want to hit with the whole sight.

Big Dot: If your priority is speed and visibility under stress, the XS Big Dot delivers. The oversized front sight pulls your eye in fast, making it ideal for self-defense, close-quarters scenarios, and extreme backcountry situations. The sights are CNC machined from solid steel bar stock by our in-house machine shop. We design, machine, and insert our tritium to produce the highest quality possible and provide American-made products.

Installation: Gunsmithing Required

S&W J Frame Integral Front (Fixed Rear): Installation for the J-Frame with an integral front requires a gunsmith to mill away most of the existing front sight ramp. Any two-part epoxy, like JB Weld, then affixes the Big Dot onto the existing stub. View Written Installation Instructions.

Tritium Products — XS Sights warrants all handgun sights containing tritium to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Tritium illumination is warranted to glow for twelve (12) years. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser. Proof of purchase is required for an RMA. If this product is found to be defective, the manufacturer's only obligation is to replace the product at the manufacturer's discretion, provided that the product has not been damaged through misuse, modifications, neglect, or mishandling. XS Sights will not be responsible for product removal or installation labor costs. — Tritium illumination will dim throughout the product's life and is not subject to warranty claims. This warranty shall not apply to the finish on any portion of the product or weathering, as this is considered normal wear and tear. Sights improperly installed are not subject to warranty. — Non-Tritium Products — XS Sights warrants all non-tritium products to be free from defects in material and workmanship. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser. Proof of purchase is required for an RMA.
